On December 11, 2025, it is learned that a racist group attacked students hanging banners at Ankara University Language and History-Geography Faculty.
On December 11, 2025, a student of the same university was reportedly attacked by a racist group in front of the dormitory where he was staying.

It is learned from the news coverage of December 12, 2025 that, in Erzurum Dumlu High Security Prison No 2, prisoners are not given the books that are sent by mail and for which there is no confiscation warrant, and prisoners’ social, cultural, sportive and communication rights are restricted.

It is learned from the news coverage of December 12, 2025 that in Erzurum Dumlu High Security Prison No 2, hospital transfers are delayed and prisoners who reject to be examined in handcuffs are not treated.

Lawyer Naim Eminoğlu, member of Progressive Lawyers’ Association (ÇHD) and People’s Law Office, who was detained in the police raid to People’s Law Office in Istanbul on December 10, 2025, is arrested by the criminal court of peace on December 11, 2025.

The trial of the lawsuit filed on the grounds of Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu’s statement on expert witnesses in the cases he is on trial continued on December 12, 2025 at Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance No 2. The indictment demands sentence for Ekrem İmamoğlu on the charges of ‘attempting to influence fair trial’ and ‘attempting to influence those on judicial duty’. The court adjourned the trial to March 30, 2025.

It is learned that the appeal to Criminal Chamber No 2 of Izmir Regional Court of Appeals against journalist Delal Akyüz’s sentence of 6 years and 3 months on the charge of ‘being an illegal organisation member’ given by Izmir Heavy Penal Court No 13 is rejected.
(12/073) Life Defenders on Trial in Muğla…
The final trial of the case against life defenders Ferah Gümüş and Güven Göknar, on the grounds of a vigil they participated in for Akbelen Forest in Milas district of Muğla, is held at Milas Penal Court of First Instance No 6 on December 11, 2025. The court sentenced 2 people to 5 months each on the charge of ‘resisting to prevent duty’ and acquitted them on the charge of ‘insult’.

The final hearing of the lawsuit filed against economist Mustafa Sönmez, on the grounds of his social media posts about Turkish Statistical Institute’s (TÜİK) inflation data, was held at Ankara Civil Court of First Instance No 21 on December 12, 2025. The court dismissed the lawsuit.

The retrial of the case against 2 police officers (S.B. and S.G.) on the charge of ‘corrupting, destroying or concealing an official document’ in the case on Onur Yaser Can’s death by suicide after being subjected to torture and ill-treatment under custody in 2010, started on December 11, 2025. The court decided to file a criminal complaint against the defendants for ‘corrupting, destroying or concealing an official document’. The court rejected to file a criminal complaint against the defendants on the allegations of ‘torture’ and ‘driving to suicide’.

It is learned that posters of Republican People’s Party (CHP) before the rally to be held in Kayseri on December 13, 2025 are removed by municipality police.

It is learned from the news coverage of December 12, 2025 that, 10 proceedings demanding lift of impunity of 7 parliamentary members are sent to Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
