On September 24, 2025 it is learned from the news coverage of September 24, 2025 that, Serkan Onur Yılmaz, a prisoner in Bolu F Type Prison was forcibly taken to hospital on the 318th day of his hunger strike demanding closure of Y and S type prisons.

On September 24, 2025 it is learned from the news coverage of September 24, 2025 that Yasin Kaya, a prisoner in Şırnak T Type Prison was transferred to Konya Ereğli High Security Prison against his will.
(09/208) Police Intervention to a Protest in Hatay…
On September 25, 2025, the police intervened the people who were protesting in Kurtderesi neighbourhood of Samandağ district of Hatay against the seizure of their land for housing construction and detained 2 people (İlayda Çekiç and Emir Döner) by using physical violence and handcuffing them behind their backs. Two people were released after statement procedures on the same day.

Yusuf Çıtrık, Adıyaman Provincial Representative of Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), was detained by the police raiding his house on September 24, 2025 on the allegations of ‘making propaganda for an illegal organization’. Yusuf Çıtrık was released after statement procedures on the same day.

The trial of the case against Swedish citizen journalist Joakim Medin started on September 25, 2025 at Istanbul Heavy Penal Court No 13. The indictment demands sentence for Joakim Medin on the charges of ‘being an illegal organization member’ and ‘making propaganda for an illegal organization’. The court decided to wait for the response to the appeal for Joakim Medin’s defense and adjourned the trial to January 8, 2026.
Joakim Medin was detained at Istanbul Airport on March 27, 2025, arrested on March 28, 2025 and released on May 16, 2025.
(09/211) Human Rights Defender on Trial in Muğla…
The retrial of the case against Haluk Özsoy, a human rights and life defender, started on September 24, 2024 after the acquittal verdict of the case filed at Muğla Penal Court of First Instance No 6, based on the statements in the text he read at the press declaration organized by Muğla Labour and Democracy Forces on December 3, 2023, was overturned by Izmir Regional Court of Appeals.
The indictment demands Haluk Özsoy to be sentenced for ‘publicly degrading the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the judicial organs of the State’ under Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK).
The court adjourned the trial to November 12, 2025.

It is learned from the news coverage of September 24, 2025 that Adana Public Prosecutor’s Office initiated an investigation against Hasan Kütük, former executive of Birleşik Kamu-İş, for the banner he held at a press declaration on June 19, 2025; and that Hasan Kütük gave his official statement at Adana Provincial Security Directorate through the investigation.
(09/213) Person on Trial for Racist Attack in Eskişehir…
On September 25, 2025, the final trial of the case against Arda Küçükyetim, for attacking a tea garden in Tepebaşı district of Eskişehir on August 12, 2024, wearing a Nazi helmet and swastika symbols and injuring 5 people with a knife and an axe, is held at Eskişehir Heavy Penal Court No 6. The court sentenced Arda Küçükyetim to 75 years and 5 months on the charges of ‘attempted premeditated murder’ and ‘threatening to cause fear and panic’.
