It is learned from the news coverage of August 1, 2025 that, 30 trans women in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul were taken to the police station on the grounds of general identity check and were kept in the garden of the police station for an hour. It is stated in the news reports that trans women were subjected to pressure to turn off their cell phones while they were kept in the garden of the police station.
