INTRODUCTION
The first report covering the medical investigations of the HRFT was released in 1993. The report covers the medical investigations, research and social activities conducted by the HRFT between the years of 1990-1992. This present report includes the medical and social activities of the Ankara, İzmirand İstanbul branches of the HRFT in the year of 1993 and is available both in English and Turkish like the previous one.
In line with the aim of its foundation, the HRFT runs medical and social support programs for those suffering from torture. These programs of the HRFT are promoted by a group of medical and social volunteers. The Human Rights Association and its various branches, Turkish Medical Association and the local chambers of medicine also give considerable support to our programs.
We would like to thank all volunteer groups and the human rights organizations for their valuable contributions to our activities.
