This study aims to raise awareness and discuss the responsibilities of physicians by sharing TİHV’s 2024 application data, including torture practices, targeted individuals, and the consequences of torture. The personal accounts of 697 individuals who applied to the Treatment Centers of the Turkish Human Rights Foundation (TİHV-TM) between January 1, 2024 – 31.12.2024, indicating that they had been subjected to torture and other ill-treatment in Turkey, were retrospectively investigated, and the information was statistically analyzed under the headings of sociodemographic data, torture, and medical processes.
