This study examines the European Court of Human Rights’ (ECHR) decisions evaluating Article 3 violations concerning Turkey between 2012 and 2016, focusing on “medical evidence and documentation,” to determine the impact of the Istanbul Protocol on medical evidence and documentation. The findings of this study aim to contribute to legal and health professionals by promoting the implementation and dissemination of the Istanbul Protocol in processes of justice, truth, and reparation.
