Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (HRFT) and Human Rights Association (İHD) have relaesed a joint statement on the armed attack targeting the HDP İzmir office in which HDP employee Deniz Poyraz lost her life.
Comdemning the attack, HRFT and İHD demanded an urgent and effective investigation on the attack.
Stating that the attack was a result of the political power holders’ hate speech targetting HDP, HRFT and İHD have called Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu to resign.
