While he was still in prison, he was taken by the gendarmerie teams. He would not be allowed to meet with the family, as a result of our insistence, he was allowed to meet with the family for five minutes. Then he was taken to Akhisar gendarmerie station. He was kept in the gendarmerie station without any legal basis. In my meeting with Akhisar Gendarmerie Station last night, I was told that he would be taken to Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Station to be sent to Izmir or Aydın Repatriation Center. However, when my client called me at around 3 am, I learned that he was sent to Edirne Repatriation Center. However, today, I think that sending my client to Edirne is aimed at preventing the legal initiatives that we will make, and to deport him.”
