It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that M. B. (39, m), a prisoner in Samsun Vezirköprü M Type Prison was found wounded in his ward and lost his life in Vezirköprü State Hospital. It is also stated in the news reports that the cause of death of M. B. was reported as suicide by prison authorities.

It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that prisoners in Istanbul Bakırköy Women’s Prison were allowed only 35 minutes of open visits, which should be 1 hour.
It is learned from the news coverage of July 31, 2024, that Gökhan Ozan, a prisoner in Izmir Ödemiş Prison was transferred to Manisa T Type Prison against his will, and was subjected to torture and ill-treatment of the correction officers after he rejected strip search during the entrance procedures and disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him by the prison administration.

It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that in the Dargeçit and Nusaybin districts of Mardin, the Kurdish “Pêşî Peya” (Pedestrian First) signs written by the municipality on pedestrian crossings in different parts of the districts were removed by the Regional Directorate of Highways teams accompanied by police officers in armored vehicles, on the grounds of ‘violation of Highways Traffic Marking Standards’ by the decision of Ministry of Interior.

It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that the Constitutional Court evaluated the individual appeal against the judicial fine of 7.300 Turkish Liras given to Abdurrahim Kılıç in Mardin in 2016 for ‘making propaganda for an illegal organization’ in the case filed at Midyat Heavy Penal Court, on the grounds of wearing a t-shirt with the word ‘Kurdistan’ on it, and ruled that Abdurrahim Kılıç’s freedom of expression was violated, and decided to hold a retrial and to pay 10.000 Turkish Liras moral compensation to Abdurrahim Kılıç.

It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that 3 news reports on https://www.bbc.com, https://www.evrensel.net and https://www.diken.com.tr, about a former national wrestler being sentenced to jail for qualified sexual assault, were banned from access by Antalya Korkuteli Criminal Peace Judgeship on July 30, 2024, on the grounds of right to be forgotten and violation of personal rights.
It is learned from the news coverage of July 30, 2024, that a total of 3 news reports on https://www.cumhuriyet.com.tr, https://www.dokuz8haber.net and https://birincihaber.com.tr, written by journalist Barış Pehlivan about the lawsuit between the Chairman of the Inspection Board of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) and his neighbors, were banned from access by Ankara Criminal Peace Judgeship No 3 on July 30, 2024, on the grounds of violation of personal rights.
