(12/001) Prisoners whose Release was Adjourned by the Prison Administration and Observation Board Decision…

It is learned from the news coverage of November 28, 2025 that, the release of Melike Göksu, former co-mayor of Karayazı district of Erzurum, who is being held in Ankara Sincan Women’s Prison for 7 years and 6 months, is adjourned for 6 months by Prison Administration and Monitoring Board (CİGK) on the grounds of ‘not attending the board’. Melike Göksu’s release was adjourned 2 times before.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 29, 2025 that, the release of Filiz Işık, a prisoner in Diyarbakır Women’s Prison, who completed the execution of her sentence of 6 years 10 months and 15 days, has been adjourned for 6 months by CİGK.

(12/002) Co-Mayors and Other People Subjected to Physical Violence of the Police in Şırnak…

It is learned from the news coverage of November 29, 2025 that, co-mayors of Cizre district of Şırnak, Güler Tunç Yerbasan and Abdürrahim Durmuş and their entourage were stopped by the police at the entrance of the hotel where they came to attend 4th International Melayê Cizîrî Symposium in Şırnak, and were not allowed to enter the hotel and were forced away from the hotel by physical violence. It is reported that 1 person was detained during the intervention. It is stated in the news reports that Şırnak Security Police Chief threatened Co-Mayor Güler Tunç Yerbasan by saying “This is your last protest”.

It is learned from the news coverage of December 1, 2025 that, a person named T.A.V. is detained in Istanbul on the grounds of threatening the President through a social media post.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 29, 2025 that, 1 person was sentenced to 1 month and 16 days in Sinop Heavy Penal Court for ‘praising crime and criminal’ in a case on the grounds of social media posts about Mahir Çayan. The name of the person in question could not be obtained.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 29, 2025 that artist Orhan Aydın, who was subjected to an investigation on the grounds of his social media post about former mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, gave his official statement.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 30, 2025 that, 2 students of Kocaeli University were expelled from the student dormitory they were staying in, on the grounds of participating in the protests after the detain of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor.

(12/008) Television and Radio Channels Penalized by RTÜK

It is learned from the news coverage of November 27, 2025 that the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) issued a decision against Sözcü TV channel for the remarks made by the CHP Deputy Chairman in the program “Türkiye’nin Sözü”; against TLC channel for the ‘obscene’ scenes in the movie “Şeytanın Avukatı”; It is learned that administrative fines were given to Edessa channel for violating the principle of “contradiction to national and spiritual values”; to Metro FM radio channel for violating the principle of “addictive substances such as alcohol and drugs cannot be encouraged” and to Burhaniye Radyo Ses radio channel for the program titled “Mahkum Özel”.

(12/009) Blocked Social Media Accounts…

It is learned from the news coverage of November 28, 2025 that, 450 social media accounts and internet addresses are banned to access in accordance with Article 8/A of Law No 5651, on the grounds of posts and content related to Adnan Oktar, known as “Adnan Hoca”.
