It is learned from the news coverage of August 28, 2025 that Mustafa Uğur, who was detained in Adıyaman, died under suspicious circumstances at Provincial Security Directorate. It is claimed in the news reports that Mustafa Uğur fell from the second floor of the Provincial Security Directorate building.

It is learned from the news coverage of August 26, 2025 that, the release of Mehmet Mehdi Ataca, a prisoner in Izmir Şakran T Type Prison No 2, who has completed the execution of his life sentence, is adjourned for 6 months by Prison Administration and Monitoring Board (CİGK) on the grounds of ‘not showing remorse’.

It is learned that the police took down the banner which was hung at Beyoğlu Municipality during the rally organized by CHP in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, and which had a photo of arrested mayor of Beyoğlu district İnan Güney with his family.
