It is learned from the news coverage of March 26, 2020 that, Silivri Public Prosecutor’s Office decided non-prosecution on the official complaint about physical violence that Barış Pehlivan, Oda TV website executive editor was subjected at Silivri Prison after he was arrested on March 6, 2020.

The first trial of the case against Mezopotamya News Agency reporters Sadık Topaloğlu and Sadiye Eser, on the grounds of ‘being an illegal organisation member’, is held at Istanbul Heavy Penal Court No 22 on March 26, 2020.
Sadık Topaloğlu and Sadiye Eser joined the trial via sound and vision system.
After defence and witness hearings the court released Sadık Topaloğlu and Sadiye Eser on judicial control conditions and adjourned the trial to October 15, 2020.
Sadık Topaloğlu and Sadiye Eser were detained on November 29, 2019 and were arrested by the court on December 2, 2019.

The first trial of the case against singer Yılmaz Çelik on the grounds of ‘being an illegal organisation member’ is held at Tunceli Heavy Penal Court No 2 on March 26, 2020.
After defence hearings the court released Yılmaz Çelik on judicial control conditions and adjourned the trial to May 14, 2020.
Yılmaz Çelik was detained on December 8, 2019 and was arrested by the court on December 10, 2019.

Ministry of Health declared that 16 people died due to Covid-19 pandemic and 1196 new Covid-19 cases were diagnosed on March 26, 2020.
The death toll from Covid-19 in Turkey increased to 75 and total number of confirmed cases is 3629 as of March 26, 2020.
