According to news reports on August 26, 2025, it was learned that Mehmet Dayangaç, a prisoner held at Ankara Sincan No. 2 L-Type Prison, was subjected to torture and other ill-treatment by prison guards. The news also stated that the petitions and letters written by Mehmet Dayangaç were not sent by the prison administration.

Nusret Yılmaz, the lawyer of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, was detained on August 26, 2025, on charges of “facilitating bribery” as part of an investigation into the İBB.
Nusret Yılmaz was released on August 27, 2025, by the Criminal Court of Peace, which referred him to trial, under judicial control.

An indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against eight people, including Beşiktaş Municipality officials, as part of an investigation into the Republic Day celebrations organized by the Beşiktaş Municipality in 2019, was accepted by the Istanbul Heavy Penal Court No. 36 on August 26, 2025.
The indictment seeks punishment for the eight individuals for the crime of bid rigging. The first hearing of the case will be held on October 30, 2025.

According to news reports on August 26, 2025, a doctor working at Konya Meran State Hospital refused to examine a woman, stating, “I do not examine exhibitionists,” citing her clothing as the reason.
The Ministry of Health and the Konya Governor’s Office announced that an investigation had been launched into the doctor in question.
