It is learned that Kadir Miraç Göker (17) was hit by a police car in Körfez district of Kocaeli on September 28, 2025 and died in hospital.

It is learned from the news coverage of September 26, 2025 that Halil Kılıç, headman of Balaban neighbourhood of Suruç district of Urfa, was subjected to physical violence of the gendarmerie because he rejected to be forced to seal and sign blank papers. It is stated in the news reports that Halil Kılıç’s son and nephew were also subjected to torture and ill-treatment and his nephew was licked on his head. It is reported that 3 people were detained afterwards and were released after being detained for 2 days.

On September 29, 2025 it is learned from news coverage of September 29, 2025 that in Tekirdağ F Type Prison No 2, books, magazines and literary works of prisoners were seized during ward searches, prisoners were restricted from attending courses and the food given to prisoners was of poor quality. It is also stated in the news reports that Ahmet Sürme, Erdal Özdoğan, Aligül Alkaya, Mikail Mungan and Halil Kahraman, who were kept in the same prison, were prevented from sports, chat and other common activities on the grounds of “bomb and explosive material” allegations in their case file.

On September 29, 2025 it is learned from the news coverage of September 29, 2025 that, Süleyman Ucakan, İbrahim Aşkan and Yılmaz Yıldız, prisoners in Tekirdağ F Type Prison No 2, were taken back to prison without being treated because they rejected to be examined in handcuffs in hospitals.

On September 28, 2025, the police intervened Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Youth Assembly members hanging banners in Seyhan district of Adana and detained 2 people (Devran Şimşek and Baran Tuncay Yıldırım) by using physical violence. 2 people are released after statement procedures.

5 of 14 people including municipality executives who were detained on September 23, 2025 through an investigation launched by Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for concerts organized between 2021 and 2024, are arrested by the criminal court of peace on September 27, 2025. 9 people were released on ordinary control conditions.

The dissolution case against Tarlabaşı Community Support Association (TTM), on the grounds of ‘unlawful and immoral activities’ of the association, is held at Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance No 18 on September 29, 2025. It is learned that press and audience were not allowed to the hearing. The court adjourned the hearing to January 21, 2025.
