(02/210) Child Hit By Police in İstanbul…
According to the news appeared in press on 16 February 2017, a child named Barıs Toprak (16 years old) was detained with his fried when an alarm sounded at a mall in Esenyurt, Istanbul. Toprak and his friend, reportedly, escaped during medical examination. He was shot by the police official H.D.S. The police official was firstly released. But he was arrested upon the objection of the Public Prosecutor’s Office on 22 February 2017.
(02/211) Blockade in Doganli, Kuyular and Korukoy…
According to the news appeared in press on 23 February 2017, diggers entered the Doganli village. Two houses were, reportedly, pulled down. 4 persons were detained. Names of the detainees are as follows: Necat Yildiz, Sahap Yalcin, Abdurrahman Oker and Mecit Gunduz. An open ended curfew was declared on 22 February 2017. Following the declaration of the curfew, the village was blockaded.
A delegation of Voice Person of Peace Block Bahadır Altay, Ebru Ergun from Association of Psychologists for Social Solidarity (TODAP), representatives of Diyarbakır, Mardin and Van braches of Turkish Medical Association, Co-Chair of DTK Leyla Guven, HDP Mardin MP Mehmet Ali Aslan and Peace Mothers was not let in Koruköy on 23 February 2017 by security forces. The delegation started a sit down at the junction to the village.

According to the news appeared in press, in Antalya L Type Prison, 30 prisoners are staying in rooms which are for 7 prisoners. In addition, the treatments of ill prisoners are prevented, social and cultural rights of the prisoners are taken away, and the duration of visits is reduced to 20 minutes.
According to the news appeared in press, prisoners in the Izmir Sakran Prison No 4 were beaten during ward search.
According to the news appeared in press, ill prisoners are not taken to hospital and cameras are put inside the rooms.
(02/213) Case of Kidnapped Journalist in Ankara…
Barış Boyraz was kidnapped on 23 January 2017. A complaint was made to Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office. The office gave a decision of non-prosecution about this complaint. In his decision it was said that there were no sufficient evidence to open a public case except the abstract allegation of the complainant.

The Co-Chair of SYKP Tülay Hatimogullari was detained on 23 February 2017 at Sabiha Gokcen Airport because of a ban on leaving the country. She was taken to airport police station and was released after her testimony had been taken and her passport had been seized.

11 persons were detained on 23 February 2017 during house raids in Beyaoglu, Ümraniye, Kartla, Sancaktepe, Eyup, Esenyur, Avcilar, Sultanbeyli distircts of Istanbul. Names of the detainees that could be reached are as follows: Ahmet Kabataş, Şener Yılan, Ayhan Demir, Muammer Kaya, Kadir Keten, Hasan Özyılmaz, Yılmaz Kızılateş, Çağdaş Ulaş Karataş, İhsan Ateşmen, Ozan Kolukısa.
2 persons, one the Chair of Siirt Branch of Kurdi-Der Eyup Oygur and the other branch executive Adem Esen, who were detained on 13 February 2017, were taken to court and were released.
30 persons, who were detained in connection with the Viransehir bombing, were taken to court. 8 persons were arrested for ‘being a member of an illegal organization.’ Names of the persons who were arrested are as follows: Mehmet Karataş, Eyüp Dağtekin, İbrahim Halil Geçgel, İdris Duruk, Leyla Teymur, Mahsun Yıldırım, Serdar Fırathan and another person whose names could not be reached.
Hacay Yilmaz and Ali Dogan was detained on 23 February 2017 in Izmir during house raids. The detainees are taken to İzmir Police Headquarter.
Zeynep Turan, Mehmet Celik and Velat Bagis were detained on 23 February 2017 in Adana during house raids. The detainees are taken to Adana Police Headquarter.
Hamza Ulucay, a person working as a translator in US Consulate in Adana, was detained on 23 February 2017 for ‘being a member of an illegal organization.’

Van Heavy Penal Court No 2 continued on 23 February 2017 the case against Co-Chair of HDP Figen Yuksekdag. Yuksekdag participated the hearing via SEGBİS from Kandira F Type Prison. After the defenses, the court adjourned the hearing to 16 April 2017.
Istanbul Penal Court of First Instance No 47 continued on 23 February 2017 the case against Co-Chiar of HDP Selahattin Demirtas. The indictment wants the defendant to be sentenced for insulting the former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Demirtas participated the hearing via SEGBİS from Edirne F Type Prison. The court delivered the case to upper court upon the recusation demand of Demirtas and his lawyers.
Anadolu Penal Court of First Instance continued on 23 February 2017 the case against Co-Chiar of HDP Selahattin Demirtas. The indictment wants the defendant to be sentenced for ‘inciting people to hatred and enmity.’ Demirtas participated the hearing via SEGBİS from Edirne F Type Prison. After the defenses, the court adjourned the hearing to 7 June 20147.

Istanbul Penal Court of First Instance continued on 23 February2017 the case against journalist Enver Aysever. The indictment wants the defendant to be sentenced for insulting Chiar of TBMM İsmail Kahraman in an article he wrote on 27 November 2015. Court fined Aysever to 10,620 TL.
(02/218) Detentions and Arrests in Connection with the Coup d’État Attempt…
13 of 24 employees of TUBITAK, who were detained on 16 February 2017 in a Kocaeli centered police operation, were taken to court on 23 February 2017. 9 were arrested and 4 were released with a judicial control condition.
Arrests warrants were issued on 23 February 2017 for 52 persons for using ByLock. 20 were detained in a Usak centered police operation in 20 cities.
Arrest warrants were issued on 23 February 2017 for 14 employees of Treasury and Foreign Trade Undersecretariat who were expelled by a Decree with the Force of Law. 10 persons were detained.
Arrest warrants were issued on 23 February 2017 for 22 police official who were expelled by a Decree with the Force of Law. 19 persons were detained in an Sivas centered police operation.
(02/219) Confiscated Belongings of A TV Channel…
According to the news appeared in press on 23 February 2017, the belongings of TV10 were moved from the center of the TV in Ikitelli to another depot. TV10 was closed by a Decree with the Force of Law and its belongings were transferred to Saving Deposit Insurance Fund.
