On November 19, 2025 it is learned from news coverage of November 19, 2025 that the mail sent to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı F Type Prison by Field Research Center (SAMER) was not accepted by the prison administration and the mail was returned to SAMER.

On November 20, 2025, it is learned that 1 person was wounded due to the intervention of private security units to the people hanging banners in Ankara University Faculty of Language and History Geography for the Day of Commemoration of Trans People Victim of Hate Crime. It is also claimed that 1 trans individual was subjected to harassment of private security units.

The trial of the case against journalists Barış Terkoğlu and Barış Pehlivan, Can Bursalı, Nevzat Çiçek, Doğan Akın, Gökmen Karadağ, Fatih Portakal, Can Özçelik and Ayşenur Arslan on the grounds of the book “Metastasis 2: Cendere” continued on November 20, 2025 at Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance No 2. The indictment demands sentence for 9 journalists on the charges of ‘insult’ and ‘slander’. The court adjourned the trial to April 30, 2026.

On November 20, 2025, the retrial of the case against journalist Hayko Bağdat started after the Constitutional Court ruled on the violation of the Constitutional Court’s (AYM) decision on the judicial fine of 1,740 TRY imposed on the case filed on the grounds of his social media post about İş Bank General Manager. The court acquitted Hayko Bağdat.

Mehmet Üçar was arrested on November 26, 2024 and was released at the first hearing of the case on July 8, 2025.

On November 20, 2025, 9 people were detained in operations conducted in Izmir and Istanbul through an Izmir based investigation for using ByLock.
