It is learned that the flood and landslide that swept Rize province on July 14, 2021 killed 7 people. It is reported that 1 person is still missing.

(07/168) Racist Attack to HDP Executive’s Home in Istanbul…

It is learned that unknown person or persons have written racist expressions and put a cross on the wall of the house of Sefer Öztürk, who works for the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Örnek neighbourhood of Esenyurt district of Istanbul, on July 14, 2021. It is learned that Sefer Öztürk made a criminal complaint at Kıraç Police Station.

It is learned that 3 people were detained on July 15, 2021, in relation to the armed attack on HDP office in Marmaris district of Muğla on July 14, 2021. 4 people have been detained so far.

07/170) Threat Against Co-Mayor in Mardin…

It is learned from the news coverage of July 15, 2021 that, Nalan Özaydın, co-mayor of Mazıdağı district of Mardin who was replaces by a trustee and her lawyer Medya Ateş, were subjected to threats and verbal harassment of persons who represent themselves as security officers, in Artuklu district on July 14, 2021.

It is learned that the appeal made on July 15, 2021 to chief public prosecutor’s office in Bursa by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan’s lawyers in order to visit their client was not responded.

(07/172) Ban of Access to Web Contents…

It is learned that the news reports on Sedat Peker’s allegations about Korkmaz Karaca, a member of the Presidential Economy Politics Board and deputy chair of the Justice and Development Party’s Local Authorities Committee, published on, and websites are banned to access on the grounds of violation of personal rights by Istanbul Penal Court of Peace No 4 on July 14, 2021.

(07/173) Detentions and Arrests in Alleged Link to Coup Attempt…

The Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu declared on July 15, 2021 that, 312,121 people have been detained in alleged link to coup attempt since July 15, 2016.

(07/174) Covid-19 Pandemic…

The Ministry of Health declared that 48 people died due to Covid-19 pandemic and the daily number of Covid-19 cases is 7,304 as of July 15, 2021.

The death toll from Covid-19 in Turkey increased to 50,415 and total number of confirmed ill patients is 5,507,455 as of July 15, 2021.
