It is learned that 1 soldier (Fatih Duran) died due to an explosion in Hakurk area of Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government on April 15, 2020.
It is learned that 1 HPG militant (Hebun Kardaş) died in a clash between security forces and HPG militants in rural areas of Lice district of Diyarbakır on April 15, 2020.
It is learned from the news coverage of April 15, 2020 that 3 civilians (Eyşö Ehmed Ferhan, Ezime Akdoğan and Hawa Akdoğan) died in an air operation of Turkish Armed Forces nearby Mahmur Refugee Camp in Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government.

People’s Law Office made a declaration on April 15, 2020 and announced that their clients Özgür Kaya and Didem Akman are on death fast in prison since 54 days. It is stated that Özgür Kaya and Didem Akman demands fair trial and support demands of Grup Yorum member İbrahim Gökçek, Mustafa Koçak and lawyers Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Ünsal who are also on death fast.

The police intervened the press declarations of public labourers who had been dismissed by a state of emergency decree and have been struggling 1254 days to regain their jobs, in front of Human Rights Monument in Yüksel Street on April 15, 2020 at 13.30, and forced people away from the monument by using physical violence.
The police intervened the press declaration at 18.00 and detained 4 people (Nazan Bozkurt, Merve Demirel, Mahmut Konuk and Bayram Kaya) by using physical violence. Detained people are released on the same day.

On April 15, 2020, 4 people are detained in rural neighbourhoods of Lice district of Diyarbakır where a military operation is launched. Detained people are: Ferhat Önkol in Şenlik rural neighbourhood and Tuba Oyunlu, Dilan Oyunlu and Bager Oyunlu in Birlik rural neighbourhood. It is learned that detained people are kept at Lice District Gendarmerie Command.

It is learned that the first trial of the case against Filiz Buluttekin, Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) co-mayor of Sur district of Diyarbakır, which was to be held at Diyarbakır Heavy Penal Court No 11 on April 15, 2020, was held at April 2, 2020, without informing the lawyers. It is learned that the court ruled to continue detention of Filiz Buluttekin and adjourned the trial to June 17, 2020.
Filiz Buluttekin was detained on December 20, 2019 and was arrested by the court on December 23, 2019. Sur district sub-governor Abdullah Çiftçi was appointed as a trustee by Ministry of Interior on December 22, 2019.

Turkish Medical Association made a declaration on April 15, 2020 and stated their evaluation and suggestions on Covid-19 pandemic. The declaration addresses several questions to Ministry of Health, on the process of combat against outbreak and states that protective equipment given to health staff is not sufficient and that Ministry of Health do not use international codes of World Health Organisation for Covid-19.
Ministry of Health declared that 117 people died due to Covid-19 pandemic and 4,281 new Covid-19 cases were diagnosed on April 15, 2020.
The death toll from Covid-19 in Turkey increased to 1,518 and total number of confirmed cases is 69,392 as of April 15, 2020.
