(10/070) Massacre in Ankara…
Ata Önder Atabay who was seriously wounded during the bomb attack in Ankara died on 16 October 2015. The number of casualties reached 100.
The police conducted operations in connection with the attack in Ankara and detained 11 persons. Public Prosecutor in Ankara demanded 6 detainees to be arrested. The court arrested 4 detainees Y.Ş., H.Ş., H.İ.A. and R.D., but released 2 detainees with the judicial control decision.

The police conducted house raids on 18 October 2015 in Sarıyer district of İstanbul in connection with a “DHKP-C (Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party – Front) Investigation”. Dilek Doğan (25) was heavily wounded when the police opened fire in a house. Dilek Doğan was reportedly shot from behind. The authorities did not make any statement concerning the incident. But Dilek Doğan’s family declared that the police opened fire when they had a dispute for wearing overshoes to enter the house.

2 soldiers died and 2 soldiers were wounded when a bomb exploded on 18 October 2015 during the passage of a military vehicle on Tunceli-Erzincan road.
4 soldiers died and 5 soldiers were wounded during an armed clash that broke out on 17 October 2015 in Dağlıca region of Yüksekova district in Hakkari. 11 militants were allegedly killed during the clash.
The police conducted operations Şırnak on 17 October 2015 to close the ditches in the city. A police officer was heavily wounded when the police team was opened fire during the operations and died in the hospital. A police officer was also wounded during the attack.

Azad Ertaş and Diyar Akın were killed on 16 October 2015 when the police opened fire from an armoured vehicle against a group of persons who were protesting police operations in Yüksekova district of Hakkari.

Hüseyin Dinç incarcerated in Kandıra (Kocaeli) F-type Prison No 2 died on 15 October 2015 for having a heart attack in his cell. He was serving in the prison since 1993.

The police attacked a group of lawyers who wanted to make a public statement on 15 October 2015 in Alanya district of Antalya to protest in the bomb attack in Ankara. 7 lawyers were detained during the intervention.
The police continued operations in Sur district of Diyarbakır after the end of curfew. 7 persons were detained during the operations on 14 October 2015 in Hasırlı quarter of the district.
The police conducted operations on 15 October 2015 in Van and Siirt. 2 persons in Van and one person in Siirt were detained.
4 persons who were among 11 persons detained for staging a human shield activity in Pervari district of Siirt were arrested.
5 persons who were detained in Muş for the same reason were also arrested.
11 persons who were among 19 persons detained during house raids in Gaziantep were detained on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation”.
Yüksekova Co-Mayors Ruken Yetişkin and Tacettin Safalı against whom an investigation was initiated in connection with self-governance declaration were dismissed from duty on 15 October 2015 by the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
Aygül Bidav, Co-Mayor of İpekyolu district of Van, and 3 municipality workers were dismissed from duty on 17 October 2015 by the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
4 persons who were among 15 persons detained during house raids in Kovancılar district and Elazığ were detained on 15 October 2015 on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation”.
The police conducted operations after a demonstration staged in Eskişehir on 16 October 2015 to protest in the massacre in Ankara and detained 5 persons. The detainees were arrested the same day. 6 persons were also detained for the same reason on 17 October 2015 in Hatay.
The police conducted house raids on 17 October 2015 in Şanlıurfa and detained 12 persons including Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) members.
3 persons in Bulanık district of Muş and 4 persons in Erzurum who were recently detained during operations were arrested on 17 October 2015 on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation”.
(10/076) Investigations, Detentions and Arrests on the Allegations of Insulting State President…
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP candidate for Rize province Turgay Köse and Joint June Movement member Behçet Ertaş were arrested on 15 October 2015 on the allegations of “insulting the State President” by shooting the slogan “Murderer, Thief Erdoğan” during the funeral of Osman Turan Bozacı who was killed during the Ankara massacre.
Abdullah Gündoğdu, HDP Co-Chair for Pervari district of Siirt, was arrested on 15 October 2015 on the allegations of “insulting the State President”.
