They said, ‘Melek escaped from the Kayseri Prison, she is at home, open the door.’ They put a lot of pressure on me and tried to open the door. I told them that Melek had spoken to me that morning and had not escaped (…) They grabbed me and threw me against the door, telling me to get into the car. I refused, saying I would not get into the car under any circumstances (…) There were about 12 of them. They tried to force me into the car. I said, ‘There’s no one with me, how would I know who you are to come with you?’ Those with their faces covered were wearing pants with controls. They were dressed in black up to their arms. One of those with their faces uncovered had white hair and was around fifty years old. The civilians with their faces uncovered tortured me a lot, the others didn’t say anything.”
