It is learned from the news coverage of November 15, 2025 that, a child in Milas district of Muğla was subjected to physical violence and racist remarks such as “You Kurds cannot be men” at Akkent Police Station, where he was taken for not having his ID card after a quarrel with a soldier in uniform.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 16, 2025 that Istanbul Bakırköy Public Prosecutor’s Office initiated an investigation against journalist Alican Uludağ, on the grounds of ‘publicly disseminating misleading information to the public’, for his news reports on a person convicted in Şule Cet case.

The trial of the case against academic Emrah Gülsunar, on the grounds of a social media post he made, started on November 17, 2025 at Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance No 51. The indictment demands sentence for Emrah Gülsunar on the charge of ‘publicly inciting to commit a crime’. The court ruled for Emrah Gülsunar’s release with a ban on leaving the country and judicial control measures and adjourned the trial to January 30, 2026.
Emrah Gülsunar was arrested on October 13, 2025.

The final trial of the case against Mehmet Sulçuk, former Iğdır provincial co-chair of Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), on the bombing attack in Iğdır in 2015 in which 13 police officers lost their lives, is held at Iğdır Heavy Penal Court No 1 on November 14, 2025. The court sentenced Mehmet Sulçuk to 13 times heavy life imprisonment.

It is learned that https://www. istanbuliddianamesi.com website is banned to access on the grounds of ‘protection of national security and public order’ by Istanbul Penal Court of Peace No 6 on November 15, 2025.
It is learned from the news coverage of November 16, 2025 that access to X social media account of Ekrem İmamoğlu Presidential Candidate Office is banned on the grounds of ‘protection of national security and public order’. Access to 2 separate social media accounts of Ekrem İmamoğlu Presidential Candidate Office was blocked earlier.

On November 17, 2025, 71 people including public officials were detained in operations covering 27 cities through an Istanbul based investigation on the allegations of using ByLock, having accounts in Bank Asya and being a member of the security structure of the organization.
