(08/059) Operations and Attacks in the Southeast…
One soldier died when a bomb exploded on railroad track during the field search of a military troop on 13 August 2015 in Genç district of Bingöl.
One soldier was wounded when Taşarası Gendarmerie Station was opened fire on 13 August 2015 in Berman village of Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak.
According to the official announcement by the General Staff, 3 militants were killed during an armed clash that broke out on 12 August 2015 nearby Görümlü village of Silopi district in Şırnak.
2 civilians were wounded on 13 August 2015 during a bomb attack against the Security Directorate in Silvan district of Diyarbakır.
An armed group closed the road between Diyarbakır and Bingöl on Fis Plain on 13 August 2015 and reportedly abducted a soldier.
On 13 August 2015, Governorate of Mardin announced military security zone in several regions from 18 August 2015 to 1 September 2015. Entrance of civilians to the military security zones was also banned.
One soldier was wounded when a blast bomb was thrown on 13 August 2015 against the watch box of Garrison Command in Cizre district of Şırnak.
2 police officers were wounded when a bomb exploded on 13 August 2015 in a ditch in residential area of Nusaybin district of Mardin.
4 civilians and one soldier were wounded on 13 August 2015 in Pülümür district of Tunceli when a bomb vehicle exploded with remote control in front of Gendarmerie Command for Public Security.
2 police officers were wounded when an anti-riot water cannon vehicle TOMA was attacked on 13 August 2015 in Silvan district of Diyarbakır.
General Staff announced that 2 militants were killed on 13 December 2015 in Şemdinli district of Hakkari during the operations started after the attack against Durak Gendarmerie Station.
(08/060) Massacre in Suruç…
Mert Cömert (19) who was wounded during the suicidal bomb attack in Suruç district of Şanlıurfa died on 13 August2015. The number of persons died during the massacre reached 33.
The names of 32 persons who died as a result of the bomb attack are as follows:

The government house in Nusaybin district of Mardin was attacked on 11 August 2015 with bombs and long barreled weapons. 3 police officers were wounded during the attack.
During the alleged armed clash that broke out after the attack Havzullah Doğan (29) was killed. According to the news gathered, the person was not a PKK militant. His father Mehmet Doğan announced that his son was a construction worker. He added that Havzullah Doğan was wounded when he was passing by. And he allegedly was executed where he was hiding from the clash.

The vehicle of Bedrettin Fırat who was serving as imam in Şemdinli district of Hakkari was opened fire on 13 August2015 on his way to home. Bedrettin Fırat was heavily wounded during the attack.

On 12 August 2015, Qedriya Keke (58) was shot at head by the military troops and heavily wounded when s/he was nearby the border on Afrin side of the border in Syria.
(08/065) Hate Crime in Erzurum…
On 11 August 2015 in Yakutiye district of Erzurum, a group of ultranationalists attacked the Kurdish workers by saying “you are all terrorists”. 2 Kurdish workers were beaten and wounded during the incident.
(08/066) Missing Persons in Hakkari..
According to the news appeared in the press, 10 customs officers working at Üzümlü Border Gate in Çukurca district of Hakkari are missing since 10 August 2015. According to the statement by some officials, officers could be abducted by PKK.
(08/067) Leaflet Distributers Intervened…
On 13 August 2015 in Karşıyaka district of İzmir, the police intervened the members of People’s Houses when they were distributing leaflets saying “AKP wants war, but people want peace”. 5 persons were detained under beatings during the intervention.
(08/068) Operations throughout Turkey…
The police conducted house raids on 13 August 2015 in Samsun in connection with a “Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) Investigation” and detained 7 persons.
15 members or activists of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) were detained on 13 August 2015 in Eskişehir when they objected police officers for body search. A group of ultra-nationalists gathered nearby the houses of HDP members and they left their houses to defend and disperse the crowd. But the police intervened the incident and wanted to search the HDP members.
The police conducted house raids on 13 August 2015 in several quarters of Hakkari and detained 4 persons
Durmaz Yahşi (32) and Abdullah Algan (42) who were among 3 persons detained during house raids in Midyat district of Mardin were arrested on 13 August 2015 on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation”. Ersin Karabakan who was detained in Karayazı district of Erzurum was also arrested for the same allegations.
Edremit Municipality Assembly Member Azim Yacan was detained on 14 August 2015 in Edremit district of Van in connection with the recent operation against the municipality activities.
6 children were detained on 13 August 2015 in Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa on the allegations that they damaged the flag and bust in the garden of a school.
During the operations conducted throughout Turkey, 4 persons in Varto district of Muş and Dargeçit district of Mardin were detained. Salih Ürek and Leyla İşlek who were among 4 persons detained in Şırnak were arrested on the allegations of “attempting to overthrow constitutional order”, “being member of an illegal organisation, and “making propaganda of an illegal organisation”.
The police conducted house raids on 14 August 2015 in İzmir and its districts in connection with a “PKK Investigation” and detained 13 persons. One person in Turgutlu district of Manisa and 10 persons in Adana were also detained.
