It is learned from the news coverage of September 13, 2023 that, a prisoner named H. B. A. was subjected to physical violence of the correction officers and was injured at several body parts in Diyarbakır T Type Prison No. 3.
It is learned from the news coverage of September 13, 2023 that a prisoner named Rizgar Turhan in Afyon T Type Prison No. 1 was not given the books “Dilopek Ji Ava Jînê” and “Cangoriyên Mişarê” which were written by him.

The police intervened in the press declaration to be held in front of the Radio and Television Supreme Council RTÜK building in Izmir on September 12, 2023, to protest the acceptance of the advertisement of event to be held by phobic circles as a public service announcement by the RTÜK, and detained 10 people (H. R., M. C. B., R. U., E. S., S. N. P., S. D., S. Y., H. B., E. G., A. G.) on the grounds of violation of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations. Detained people were released after statement procedures on the same day.

The prosecutor declared legal opinion on the case and demanded sentence for Rabia Çetin on the charge of ‘targeting officials who took part in the fight against terrorism’ and acquittal of ‘publicly degrading a public official’. The court adjourned the trial to November 6, 2023.

The trial of the case against 13 people including journalist Sonya Bayık is held at Batman Penal Court of First Instance No. 1 on September 12, 2023. 13 people have been detained in the police intervention against the press declaration for Hasankeyf ancient towns which are in danger of being under water due to a dam construction, organized by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Youth Assembly on June 12, 20219. The indictment demands sentence for 13 people on the charge of ‘violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations’. It is learned that a defendant who was a describing the physical violence they were subjected to during the police intervention was stopped by the judge saying, “You told what happened after the incident. What happened during the incident is important to me”. The court adjourned the trial to December 12, 2023.

The first trial of the case against HDP member Hilal Ada is held at Diyarbakır Heavy Penal Court No. 4 on September 12, 2023. After defence hearings the court decided to release Hilal Ada and adjourned the trial to December 12, 2023. Hilal Ada was arrested in Diyarbakır on April 25, 2023.
