Hayrettin Önen, a local journalist in Batman got wounded due to an armoured assault on June 11, 2020. It is learned that 2 people were detained in relation to assault.

It is learned from the news coverage of June 11, 2020 that, a foreign national person was subjected to physical violence of the watchmen in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul.
It is reported that the person whose name is not known so far, made an official complaint against the watchmen and 2 watchmen is suspended by Istanbul Security Directorate and an official investigation is initiated against them.

The police intervened the press declaration at 18.00 on June 11, 2020 and detained 1 person (Melek Çetinkaya).

On June 11, 2020, the police intervened the press declaration of Alev Şahin in order to regain her job from which she was dismissed by a state of emergency decree, in front of Düzce Governorate and detained her. Alev Şahin was released on the same day.

The police intervened the press declaration at Abdullah Cömert Park in Samandağ district of Hatay on June 11, 2020, about Edibe Özçelik who had a heart attack when her house was raided by the police in Samandağ district of Hatay and who died on January 20, 2020; and detained 3 people (Ümit Özçelik, Filiz Özçelik and 1 more person) by using physical violence. Detained people were released on the same day.

Tele 1 TV channel Ankara correspondent İsmail Dükel, Oda TV Ankara news director Müyesser Yıldız, and sergeant E. B. who were detained through the investigation on the grounds of ‘military espionage’, on June 8, 2020 in Ankara, are referred to the court on June 11, 2020. The court arrested Müyesser Yıldız and E. B. on the charge of ‘disclosure of information relating to the security of the state’ according to Article 329 of Turkish Penal Code, and released İsmail Dükel on judicial control conditions.

Abdulmenaf Kur, former executive of Association of Families of Prisoners (TUAY-DER) who was among 7 people who were detained in Diyarbakır on June 8, 2020 and following days is arrested on June 11, 2020. 6 people are released on judicial control conditions. 22 people are detained in total through this investigation and 3 people (TUAY-DER co-chair Mehmet Emin Güzel, executive Şafi Hayme and member Müşeher Ülker) were arrested previously while 4 people were released on judicial control conditions. It is learned that 8 people are still under custody.

It is learned from the news coverage of June 11, 2020 that, an investigation by Artvin Public Prosecutor’s Office is initiated against conscientious objector Şendoğan Yazıcı, on the grounds of ‘alienating the public from military service by social media posts’. It is reported that Şendoğan Yazıcı gave his official statement to Hopa District Security Directorate on June 11, 2020.

It is learned that the indictment of Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office against Oktay Yaşar, owner of social media account “Ankara Kuşu”, is declined by Ankara Heavy Penal Court No 17 on the grounds of rejection of venue, and is sent to Kocaeli Heavy Penal Court No 5. Oktay Yaşar was detained in Ankara on April 2, 2020 through “Fethullahist Terrorist Organisation / Parallel State Structure Investigations” and was arrested on April 3, 2020.

It is learned that the indictment of Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office against Mesut Aydın, owner of social media account “Türkiye Gerçekleri”, is declined by Ankara Heavy Penal Court No 22 on the grounds of rejection of venue, and is sent to Istanbul Heavy Penal Court No 32. Mesut Aydın was detained in Ankara on April 2, 2020 through “Fethullahist Terrorist Organisation / Parallel State Structure Investigations” and was arrested on April 3, 2020.
