It is learned from the news coverage of November 10, 2021 that, Mehmet Işıktaş, a prisoner who has been transferred from Diyarbakır D Type Prison to Konya Ereğli T Type Prison, is forced by prison administration to stay in the ward of non-political prisoners and is on hunger strike since November 6, 2021 to protest this.

Musician Mehmet Ali Basut is detained in Istanbul and arrested by the court on the charges of ‘making propaganda for an illegal organisation’ and ‘insulting the President’ on November 10, 2021.

Hifzullah Kutum, a research assistant at Public Finance Department of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Fırat University in Elazığ, was arrested by the court on the charge of ‘making propaganda for an illegal organisation’, for a social media post reading “Şoreşa Îlonê hemû Kurdan pîroz be, Bijî Kurdistan” (Happy September Revolution to all Kurds. Long Live Kurdistan”, on November 6, 2021. Hifzullah Kutum is released from prison upon his lawyer’s appeal on November 10, 2021.

The trial of the case against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Mersin MP Fatma Kurtulan is held at Ankara Heavy Penal Court No 21 on November 10, 2021.
The indictment demands sentence for Fatma Kurtulan on the charges of ‘making propaganda for an illegal organisation’ and ‘praising offence and offender’.
The court decided to end proceedings as the conditions of prosecution are not met.

The Ministry of Health declared that 203 people died due to Covid-19 pandemic and the daily number of Covid-19 cases is 27,259 as of November 10, 2021.
The death toll from Covid-19 in Turkey increased to 72,915 and total number of confirmed ill patients is 8,247,151 as of November 10, 2021.
It is learned that 2 health workers (Ayşe Özsoy in Manisa and Fikri Sözbir in Balıkesir) lost their lives due to Covid-19 on November 10, 2021.
