(01//139) Curfew in Cizre…
The curfew in Cizre district of Şırnak reached its 45th day as of 26 January 2016.
The body of an unidentified male was found on 24 January 2016 in Dicle quarter. Bodies of 2 males were also found in Dağkapı quarter on the same day. 2 bodies were brought to Şırnak State Hospital for autopsy. One of the persons was identified as Rüzgar Yıldızgörer (25).
On 23 January 2016, a house on Caferi Sadık street in Cudi quarter was shot by a tank. According to the news, there were 28 persons in the house and some of the persons were heavily wounded during the attack. The wounded persons were not allowed to be hospitalised and Selami Yılmaz died on 25 January 2016 of blood loss.

The blockade and operations in Sur district of Diyarbakır reached its 47th day as of 26 January 2016.
Hakan Aslan was shot at back and wounded 3 days ago when the Security Forces opened fire during clashes. He could not be hospitalised and died on 25 January 2016 of blood loss.

Hasan Korkmaz (60) who was shot at back and wounded on 24 November 2015 in Nusaybin district of Mardin died on 23 January 2016 in Dicle University Medical School Hospital in Diyarbakır.

The body of Şahabettin Atasoy was found on 25 January 2016 in Yeşildere quarter of Yüksekova district in Hakkari. The body was in a sack with a note attached saying Şahabettin Atasoy was an informant.
Nurettin Atasoy, father of Şahabettin Atasoy, had been killed on 17 January 1996 nearby Manis (Dilektaşı) village allegedly by gendarmerie intelligence service JİTEM.

According to the news appeared in the press, M.F.Y. (17) living in Kıbrıs village of Mamak district in Ankara was allegedly abducted by the police. He was threatened to death and offered money to become a police informant. Police officers forced her/him to identify some persons from the photographs and alleged that s/he was denounced to be member of an illegal organisation. On 26 January 2016, M.F.Y. made an official complaint against the police officers.

The police conducted operations on 25 January 2016 in Batman and detained 13 persons including 3 children in connection with a “Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) Investigation”.
Mazlum Balta, Nevaf Didin, Eyüp Bilici, Ayşenur Aslan, Şirin Kapçin, Gülşah Ataş, Berivan Şahin, Halit Toy, Ruken Varol, Metin Tekin, Dilan Dalmızrak, Ayşe Sezik, Murat Akar, Ahmet Aktimur who were detained during the raids conducted on 22 January 2016 against the house of İnönü University students in Malatya were arrested on 26 January 2016 on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation” in connection with public statements they participated.
