2 soldiers were wounded when a bomb exploded on 20 October 2015 during the passage of a military vehicle nearby Şapatan village of Şemdinli district in Hakkari.

S.M. (14) and H.M. (15) were wounded when a material they found on 20 October 2015 in Ekinyolu village of Bingöl exploded.

(10/087) Pressures in Prisons…

According to the news appeared in the press on 21 October 2015, 16 prisoners incarcerated in Hakkari Prison were transferred to other prisons without their demands.

(10/088) Web Site Banned…

On 21 October 2015, Telecommunication Communication Directorate (TİB) banned access to news portal “www.sendika6.org”. The site was run by the news portal sendika.org. This is the 7th domain of the portal banned by the TİB.

Access to web site of the paper Özgür Gelecek was also banned by th TİB on 19 October 2015.

(10/089) March Intervened in Van…

The police intervened a march organised by Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) on 21 October 2015 to commemorate Haşim Özpolat who was killed during an armed clash in İpekyolu district of Van. The police used tear gas to disperse the crowd. 10 persons including Dicle News Agency (DİHA) correspondents Selman Keleş and Erkan Şahin, HDP MP for Van province Zozan Yeliz Yıldırım and HDP Co-Chair for Van province Derya Hayva were detained during the police intervention.

(10/090) Operations throughout Turkey…

The police conducted operations on 20 October 2015 against the members of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). 5 persons in Denizli, 2 persons in Tekman district of Erzurum were detained.

Co-Mayor of Özalp district Handan Bağcı, Vice Co-Mayor Okan Bayram and Municipality Assembly member Fevzi Keleş who were arrested on the allegations of “being member of an illegal organisation” were dismissed from duty on 21 October 2015 by the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

4 HDP executives in Ağrı and Eleşkirt district, 12 persons in Karayazı district of Erzurum, 3 persons in Niğde, 10 persons in Osmaniye, 10 persons in Bursa, and 9 persons in Hizan and Tatvan districts of Bingöl were detained during the operation son 21 October 2015.
